• Taking automated nightly replications of your finance system’s data to Castle’s secure Data Centre facility.
• On an agreed periodic basis, Castle will restore the data to your financial application and produce a pre- agreed reconciliation report which will be sent to you for comparison with your live version of the report in order for you to validate the copied data.

Disaster Recovery Invocation

Disasters can be both big and small, ranging from a simple flood affecting the electricity supply in your building to a full scale building fire and it’s important you have a Business Continuity Plan that can be put into action should a disaster occur.

A disaster can be any event, that in your opinion, prevents you from using your IT systems - either temporarily or permanently.

In the event of a disaster, the Castle Disaster Recovery Service is invoked by calling our 24/7 emergency phone number and from that point, you know we will be bringing your systems back online shortly, so you can focus on the other critical aspects of your organisation.

Castle can also provide a full consultation service to help build an appropriate Business Continuity Plan for your organisation.

How does It Work

For a small monthly fee, Castle will prepare and retain an appropriate replicated IT infrastructure at our Data Centre that can be made available to your organisation via remote access when you invoke the Disaster Recovery Service. This means your organisation can be operational within hours, not weeks.

Alternatively, data could be delivered back to your organisation for use on replacement hardware and/or Castle could deliver data and systems on replacement loan servers as an additional service.
