Qlik Improves Productivity and Service for Blackpool Transport

When Blackpool Transport realised they could benefit from more easily accessible information, they chose Qlik from Castle - a business intelligence solution that could provide quick and accurate information in an easy to use format.
Blackpool Transport is owned by Blackpool Borough Council and was originally founded in 1885. It operates buses and trams within the boroughs of Blackpool and Fyde and surrounding areas. The company operates a fleet of around 140 buses and 16 modern Flexity 2 trams, 9 modernised Balloon trams as well as a variety of heritage trams.

Our budgeting can be affected by many different issues such as seasonality, weather, school holidays and Qlik lets us instantly factor these in, allowing our team to make informed decisions quickly.
