Castle launches dedicated Housing Solutions Division

10 Feb 2016

Castle Computer Services has today launched a dedicated Housing Solutions Division and appointed Paul Sutherland as its Director of Housing Solutions.

While traditionally Castle has been well known as the leading provider of SunSystems finance systems and Qlik BI solutions into the social housing sector, the breadth and depth of solutions Castle now provides to housing associations throughout the UK is perhaps less well known.

The launch of the new division is aimed at making available to housing associations a full portfolio of best of breed software and infrastructure solutions which have been carefully selected to meet the specific requirements of housing associations who can have the confidence that whatever the solution, it will be supplied and implemented by people who really know housing.

George Strathie, Group Software & Services Director at Castle, said:

“Castle has a strong reputation in the social housing sector and the launch of our Housing Solutions Division is an exciting opportunity for us to provide a highly focused and end-to-end service to housing providers, delivered by consultants who have specialist knowledge of implementing software and IT services to the housing sector.

“We look forward to engaging with housing associations to understand their challenges, their future strategies and act as a trusted advisor to explore which future technologies can help achieve their objectives and enable them to continue to provide a high standard of service to their stakeholders”.

Paul Sutherland, Castle’s newly appointed Director of Housing Solutions, is a familiar name himself within social housing having worked with over 200 UK housing associations over the course of his career where he originally provided HR and Payroll solutions to the housing sector for 6 years before joining Castle.

In his role as Business Solutions Manager at Castle he has worked with major software vendors such as Infor, Qlik, Cintra and Civica to ensure that tailored solutions are delivered to RSLs to help them meet their short and long term objectives and changing legislative requirements. This experience has given Paul a deep and detailed understanding of the unique financial, reporting and security challenges faced by organisations in this industry.

Paul commented: “Castle’s depth of experience in the housing sector ensures we are ideally placed to provide advice and solutions to social housing providers both large and small. The team that we have put together within the Housing Solutions Division allows us to provide a range of business and infrastructure solutions all based on best of breed solutions and all with strong client referenceability. These solutions can be delivered on-premise, co-located or hosted in one of our secure data centres for added security and peace of mind.”

George, Paul and other members of the Housing Solutions Division would be delighted to meet up with you at the upcoming NHF exhibitions. We will be exhibiting at IT in Housing on 10th & 11th February at Chelsea FC and Housing Finance on 16th & 17th March at the ACC in Liverpool.
