Castle Celebrates 35 Years

24 Nov 2017

On 24th November 35 years ago, Castle Computer Services began life as a specialist provider of financial management and accounting software solutions to its predominantly Scottish customer base.

Fast forward 35 years and Castle now provides an impressive range of IT solutions to businesses of all sizes and is on the cusp of celebrating its best year yet with turnover at a record high.

Andrew Munro, Castle’s founder and Chairman commented: “It’s been an exciting 35 years and I’ve seen a lot of positive change along the way. We’re supporting customers throughout the UK, across a range of diverse industries. We deliver an enviable award-winning product and services portfolio that’s evolved through acquisition, relationships with innovative technology partners, significant investment in data centre facilities and most importantly taking the time to listen to our changing customer needs and proactively offering new technologies to help drive their digital strategies forward. All of this is delivered by a highly talented and well trained team of people throughout the business.

Our strength is that we’re not just IT suppliers, we are trusted advisors to our diverse customer base, providing solutions and advice on how technology can help our clients build a customer focused business, empower their employees to achieve their best, streamline their operations and give them the competitive edge”.

Founded in 1982, with offices in Bellshill, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and London, Castle has become one of the UK’s leading providers of accounting & business software and IT & cloud services, employing more than 70 staff and supporting over 500 customers throughout the UK.
