Citizens Advice Scotland (CAS) is the national umbrella body that provides support services for the Scottish citizens advice bureaux and collates client case evidence to shape policy in Scotland and the UK. It is a membership organisation that is democratically governed by its members – Scottish Citizens Advice Bureaux.
CAS employs around 90 staff based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness to deliver a range of services to member bureaux including the information and training services that underpin frontline advice provision, support for management and development of bureaux and the auditing of quality standards.
The team had been using SunSytems v4 for some years and identified a need to upgrade the capacity of the financial systems to meet the reporting requirements and support the continued strategic development of the organisation. Castle implemented an upgrade of the existing system to Infor SunSystems, which would guarantee all the functionality that CAS required.
