Looking for a proven and reliable Managed Service Provider?
As Scotland's leading independent IT services business we deliver a comprehensive range of managed services and IT support from our offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh to small and medium sized organisations across Scotland and the UK.
Our IT support services range from service desk support for specific elements of your infrastructure through to a fully managed service, where our fully accredited consultants become an extension of your IT team.
We offer support services for your IT environment, including network infrastructure, security, servers, storage, firewalls, PCs, laptops, and printers along with support of your business software.
By entrusting the management of all, or part, of your IT infrastructure to our technical services division you can free up resource and get time back to focus on what you do best. Our service desk team proactively monitors your environment and fixes issues before they become a problem.
Your dedicated account manager works alongside your business as it grows, gathering a sound understanding of your business challenges and strategic goals to future proof your solution and help deliver your long-term strategy.
You'll get peace of mind that your systems are always available, and that you'll be reducing the overheads of maintaining a modern IT infrastructure while delivering greater resilience, agility and security to your organisation.
Every business is different - so our managed service and support packages are flexible and scalable, and unique to you. With predictable monthly costs you can grow when you need to, increasing or decreasing resource as and when required.
Managed service brings peace of mind for Fife Housing Group
Fife Housing Group identified a need to improve system resilience disaster recovery arrangements and chose Castle to implement a managed service solution.
The team at Castle worked closely with the Group to implement a highly resilient managed infrastructure using proven technology and systems to deliver 100% up-time. The service is hosted in a Tier 3+ secure data centre in Central Scotland and Castle provides a constant system monitoring and management service. This includes web filtering email protection from viruses and phishing, internet borne threats and reports of usage, down to individual level if necessary.
The service ensures a high level of resilience and in the event of an incident systems are accessible very quickly from any of the organisations’ offices.
Nicki Donaldson, Chief Executive, Fife Housing Group, said:
“Castle’s managed service gives us complete peace of mind that on a day to day basis our systems and data are secure and operating at the most efficient levels. We also have the confidence that it is future proofed for at least the next five years, and more than meets all of the needs that we set out in the original brief for the project.
“Our colleagues can now access the system securely from our offices and from home and it will look exactly the same. This brings much greater flexibility and efficiency, which ultimately allows us to provide a higher quality service to our tenants, and other customers.
“Castle worked closely with our IT team throughout every stage of the project, ensuring a smooth and effective implementation.”
Fife Housing Group is one of the largest independent housing associations in Scotland with around 2,500 properties in Fife and an annual turnover of £11 million. Sixty-five colleagues operate from offices in Dunfermline and Lochgelly.
The organisation owns a range of properties, ranging from 100-year old cottages to new build houses. It is committed to building the foundations of an excellent business for the benefits of tenants and other customers.
